NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Monroe College volleyball team improved to 16-0 on the season after sweeping all seven matches in the Lackawanna Tournament over the weekend in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  The team won all matches in just two sets and have dropped only a pair of sets across the 16 games this season.

The Mustangs dominated Orange County College in the opener by scores of 25-10 and 25-11.  Monroe jumped out to an 11-0 lead before the Colts got on the board.  The final point came on a kill from Alexis Booker that was set up by Karen Souza.
