Mpho Makofane was the overall winner and the Region XV Champion as well.  He posted a blazing time of 27:53.6

Coach Green reflected on the team’s overall performance: “The day presented a lot of challenges for the men as well as the women.  It was cold and windy, not to mention having hilly terrain throughout the course. Despite the elements, our men performed exceptionally well and eared the Championship.  I’m very proud  of the team .”

The team next competes at the JUCO Northeast Invitational hosted by the CCRI.  The event takes place in Warwick, Rhode Island on Saturday, October 31.
