NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Monroe College football team fell to Lackawanna College, 50-0, in a football game played at City Park in New Rochelle on Saturday night. The Homecoming game capped off a day that started with the Monroe Miles, had a carnival for kids, and then the game.
The officials stopped the game with 5:16 remaining in the fourth quarter. Ryan Fulse was the offensive standout for Monroe. The first-year running back rushed for 76 yards on 12 carries. Michael Kwegyir-Attah had 12 tackels and pass break up.
The Monroe College football team is now 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in the NEFC. They return to action on Saturday, October 24, when they face Thaddeus Stevens College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The opening kick is slated for 1:30 PM.
