The Sharing Shelf, JLWOS members and other community volunteers to create a store-like environment stocked with thousands of seasonally appropriate donations. The teens are invited to look through racks of items, try on clothing, and choose what they would like, assisted by volunteers who serve as fashion consultants. The New York Covenant Church is generously offering its facility to host the Teen Boutique event.

NOTE: The shopping aspect of this event is not open to the public. The press can attend and the girls shopping at the boutique may be interviewed and photographed with parental consent.

The clothing is distributed to more than 2,000 children in need each year at no cost to the families. Each month, volunteers assemble more than 1,100 outfits, providing each child a week of seasonally appropriate clothing.
