NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Julia Bartlett a life long resident of New Rochelle, departed this life on November 12, 2015. Born April 30, 1925 to Percell and Florence Tazwell in New Rochelle, NY. A graduate of New Rochelle High School. For many years she worked as a teachers aide at Columbus school, New Rochelle. She was a loyal member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons Percell and Dennis Bartlett, daughter-in-laws Dolores and Louise Bartlett, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Mordecai Bartlett and son Steven Bartlett.
Memorial service to be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 185 Lincoln Avenue, New Rochelle, on April 30, 2016.
