NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The College of New Rochelle Womens Basketball team snapped a four game skid over the weekend, when it defeated Davis College 82-67 in both teams HVIAC conference opener. The Blue Angels improve to 2-4 while Davis falls to 3-4.
CNR was led by sophomore Hannal Cambel (Houston, TX) who scored a career-high 26 points, including eight buckets from downtown to lead CNR to the win. Senior Jasmine Brandon (Jersey City, NJ) was next with 15 points and 15 boards, while senior Janasha King (Jersey City, NJ) contributed 14 points.
CNR outshot Davis 43% to 36% for the game and 68% to 50% from the charity stripe.
CNR will host Old Westbury on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Wellness Center.
