NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Raymond Lerner passed away on December 7th, 2015 at United Hebrew, New Rochelle, NY at the age of 85 years old from natural causes. He was born in Bronx, NY on May 17, 1930 to Max and Sonia Lerner and was raised in White Plains, NY. He studied business at Long Island University. A lifelong Westchester resident, Raymond owned and operated Fromberry’s clothing store for many years and continued business in New Rochelle, NY thereafter. He is predeceased by his wife, Regina and survived by his sons Rod and Michael, a brother Julius Lerner, and sisters Roz Cowle and Iris Struber. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10th at noon at the Ballard Durand Funeral home, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY. Interment will follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. The family invites friends to make a donation to their favorite charity in Raymond’s name, if so moved.
