NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A free family concert of Celtic Harp Music performed by the Westchester Harp Ensemble will be presented in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library on Sunday, March 13th at 3:00 pm. The 12-person harp ensemble will perform a selection of traditional and enchanting music from Ireland. The concert is on a first-come, first-served basis, to the capacity of the 138-seat theater.
Directed by harpist Lois Colin, the Westchester Harp Ensemble was founded in 2004 and has performed extensively in Westchester and neighboring communities.
The concert is a “BID Family Day” event, made possible by the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District, in conjunction with the New Rochelle Public Library, the City School District and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
