Monroe College Men’s Track and Field Team Places Sixth at Millrose Games

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Monroe College men’s track and field team faced the professionals this past weekend as they competed in the annual Millrose Games at the Armory in New York.  The Mustangs placed a respectable 6th, out of 12 teams.

The two standout performances came in the relays as the 4X200 placed fourth and the distance medley crossed the line in sixth.  The 4X200 team was composed of Stanley Little, Muta Jackson, Adrian Sheriff and Richardson Pierre and clocked a time of 1:30.18.  The distance medley team featured Rajay Hinds, Pierre, Jaymes Dennison and Mpho Makofane and logged a mark of 10:19.50

The team returns to action on Saturday, February 27, when they compete at the Last Chance Invite on Staten Island.  Following that, the team competes at nationals.
