NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Mobile Payment Now Available for On-Street Parking Meters
The pay-by-phone convenience currently available for parking in municipal lots has been expanded to include on-street meters, the City of New Rochelle announced today.
Using the free Parkmobile app, available for iPhone, Android, Windows, Amazon, and Blackberry phones, parkers at any of the City’s smart meters can begin a parking session and extend time remotely. The app can be downloaded from the app store or online at www.parkmobile.com. Subscribers can also choose to receive alerts and reminders 15 minutes prior to their parking session expiring. The mobile payment solution is an added payment option and credit, debit and coins are still valid for meter use.
