NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Iona Preparatory School K-12 will hold a Spring Fling fundraiser for its Lower School Library & Technology Center renovations on Saturday, March 12, at Mulino’s at Lake Isle, 660 White Plains Road, Eastchester, N.Y.

Spring Fling, comprising a dinner and auction, will run from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The event, presented by the Lower School Mothers’ Auxiliary, will also serve to honor Frank and Heidi Coppola and William and Roseann McSorley, parents of Lower School students and significant contributors to the success of Iona Prep.

The library renovations will commence once 100 percent of the funding is committed, and Saturday’s gala will go a long way toward the overall goal of $568,500. The plans call for the inclusion of a storytelling area, instructional space, an updated technology and media center, and a makerspace room. The Lower School Library & Technology Center is expected to strengthen the Lower School’s curriculum and educational offerings and become a showpiece on campus.

Tickets for Spring Fling are $125. Items up for auction from collectibles, health and beauty items, and wine tastings to a tour of the New York Stock Exchange, Yankees game tickets and lunch for four with Yankees legend Mariano Rivera. For more information, to purchase tickets or to bid on the live and silent auction items, go to www.ionaprep.org/springfling.
