WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino orders flags at all county buildings to be flown at half-staff in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
The flags will remain at half-staff until Mrs. Reagan’s funeral. Astorino released the following statement:
“We are saddened by the loss of our former First Lady, Nancy Reagan, but are warmed by the thought of her blessed reunion with the love of her life, President Reagan. Mrs. Reagan served the nation with class, grace and dignity and contributed mightily to noble causes such as the fight against drugs and the fight to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. She will be deeply missed.”
