PELHAM, NY — A new Italian Folk Art event comes to Pelham Art Center on Saturday, March 19, 2016 with family-friendly activities celebrating Italian Culture. From 2:00 – 4:00PM, teaching artist Nicole Zahour will lead a hands-on Venetian mask-making workshop for all ages. Renowned singer, Alessandra Tamerin, will explore Italian history and tradition through classic and operatic performances of popular Italian songs, all accompanied by pianist Martha Mingle. As part of our Folk Arts Series, this event is free and open to all ages.
