05/20 League of Women Voters Coffee & Conversation to Feature Discussion About Presidential Election 9.30 PM

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle League of Women Voters “Coffee and Conversation” on Friday, May 20th will feature Professor Jeanne Zaino, who will speak about the upcoming presidential election. The program will take place in the Meeting Room of the New Rochelle Public Library and will take place between 9:30 am and 11:00 am. The public is welcome to attend the free program.

Jeanne Zaino is an Associate Professor within Iona College’s Department of Political Science & International Studies. Her work has been published in journals as varied as: Campaigns and Elections, Journal of Politics, Journal of Political Science Education, Dispute Resolution Journal, Journal of Pastoral Counseling, and the Chronicles of Higher Education. She is the author of Core Concepts in American Government: What Everyone Should Know and co-author of Adventures in Social Research: Data Analysis Using SPSS with sociologists Earl Babbie and Fred Halley. Jeanne has participated on several radio programs, including NPR’s Marketplace, WHUD, and WCHE, Pennsylvania. And she is a frequent guest on local and national television with recent appearances on WCBS, News12, Fox 5, RNN, WNBC, Good Day New York, Good Day Street Talk, and Strategy Room. She has also been a weekly guest with a recurring spot on Bob Marrone’s “Good Morning Westchester” (WVOX) for several years. She is a resident of New Rochelle, where she lives with her husband and two sons. 

A Question and Answer session will follow Professor Zaino’s informal presentation. Complimentary coffee and light breakfast fare will be served.
