NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Detroit native, and son of legendary Motown saxophonist, Eli Fountain, percussionist Eli Fountain is bringing to the series an ensemble of amazing New York musicians and a smooth jazz sound. Eli has performed with The Temptations, Whitney Houston, Peabo Bryson, and many more. Max Roach, Geri Allen, James Carter, Sam Rivers, Lena Horne, Butch Morris, and Aretha Franklin are among the stars he has recorded with. He is also the leader of Percussion Discussion and The Organizers, and is a member of Max Roach’s M’Boom.
