NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The spring Citizen Police Academy Graduation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at the Davenport Club from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The event will feature remarks from the Academy Staff and the presentation of certificates to the students.
The Academy is designed to strengthen the partnership between the New Rochelle Police Department and the citizens of New Rochelle. For the past ten weeks, participants been introduced to the law enforcement and the criminal justice system through instructors representing every facet of the New Rochelle Police Department, from the police commissioner and division commanders, to the beat officers on the streets.
