NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A wild, high-speed police chase, originating in Larchmont, ended suddenly at Cherry Lawn Farm Market when a Larchmont Police officer lost control of his vehicle and smashed through a stone wall at the intersection of Weaver Street and Quaker Ridge Road.
The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to Westchester Medical Center.
The officer was in pursuit of the driver of a white BMW reported stolen in New York City. The driver continued driving in New Rochelle and escaped.
