PELHAM, NY — Join us at the Pelham Art Center for our week long fun-themed art “camps” and classes! Each week highlights an engaging new theme, with new art-making and movement projects. No two weeks are the same! Upcoming camp themes are: Painting and Drawing week from July 11th to July 15th; Exploring Color week from July 18th to July 22nd; Engineering and Architecture week from July 25th to July 29th; Art Around the World from August 1st to August 5th; TADA! Youth Theater from August 8th to August 12th ; Clay and Sculpture week from August 15th – August 19th ; Crafting and Weaving week August 22nd – August 26th ; and Magical Adventures week from August 29th – September 2nd.
Pelham Art Center also offers weeklong studio and digital classes such as Mosaics, Digital Collage, Video Game Design, Make your Own Horror Movie, and much more! Adult and high school classes run through the summer as well, in painting, life drawing, ceramics, collage, photography and more.
And don’t forget our one-day workshops! Throughout the summer we will be hosting one-day craft workshops introducing students to: Create Your Own Monogram, Sculpture Casting, Printmaking, Saori Weaving, and Calligraphy.
While your kids are having fun, they are also improving social and motor skills, personal expression, visual communication and application for digital skills. Statistics show that children involved in the arts improve academically! PAC instructors are great teachers, as well as professional artists in their associated mediums – so inspiring children, youth and adults alike comes naturally.
Need-based scholarships are available to all students who qualify.
