NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Jack Henry Elser, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on June 26, 2016. He was 91.

Jack was born on April 22, 1925 in Bronx, New York to the late John and Catherine (Eckert) Elser. He worked for over 35 years at Our Savior Lutheran School in Bronx, NY. He was an extremely talented carpenter and was members of the Davenport Club and Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Healy who he married in 1971; his daughter Patricia Ann Elser; his granddaughter Cait; his sister Dorothy Miller, and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

Visiting will be Wednesday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday 2pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
