Poughkeepsie, NY – The Iona College men’s cross country team finished second overall at the 2016 Marist Invitational. Senior Ross Wightman was the Gaels’ top performer in the 6k, finishing in third place.

Ross Wightman led all Gaels, placing third in the 6,000-meter event with a time of 19:10.5.
In his first collegiate cross country event, freshman Christian Alberico placed fourth in 19:12.4.
