Volunteers Needed for the New Rochelle Street Fair

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Volunteers needed to assist for Sunday’s New Rochelle Street fair(09/18). It will be a festive and fun community-building event. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help the event run as smoothly as possible.

Volunteerers are needed between 8:30 am and 6 pm (2 and 3 hour shifts are available) at the street fair as well as at the Beer & Wine Garden. 

Organizers need help with:

Check In

Info desk volunteers help direct people and answer questions throughout the day. Volunteers will

also be provided with cheat sheets to answer the most frequently asked questions. Work in teams of

two. 10am-6pm. Best for ages 18-80!

Beer & Wine Garden Wrist Band/ID Checkers:

This opportunity has room for 14 people to work in teams of two for two hour shifts from 12pm-

6pm. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Set Up Helpers:

Attention roadies, help with the unloading of equipment & general set up of booth spaces, sound

stages and the beer/wine garden! Can be male or female, at least 18 years of age and able to do

moderate to heavy physical labor.

Block Monitors:

Help greet vendors as they arrive, help them find their space, make sure vendors are occupying

correct spaces and trouble shoot whatever comes up. From 9am – noon for up to 8 volunteers.

Clean Up, Teardown, and Security:

Times and shifts vary. Great for those who are comfortable lifting heavy things.
