NEW YORK, NY — Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Inc. is thrilled to announce that Rebecca Solomon of Channel 12 News – Westchester will participate as emcee of the Doggie Fashion Show at the reopening of the Elmsford Animal Shelter. The “Grand Opening” of Paws Crossed, a new rescue, located at the former site of the Elmsford Animal Shelter will take place September 17, 2016 from 12PM to 3PM.
This show will comprise of adoptable dogs from Paws Crossed who will be strutting their stuff and their finest attire to hopefully find their forever homes.
“We could not be any more excited and honored having Rebecca join us for this very important day,” said Jennifer Angelucci, President/CEO of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Inc. “Rebecca is such a wonderful voice in animal advocacy and from day one, has followed and covered Paws Crossed’s journey. We are so thankful for her passion and dedication!”
Rebecca is an award winning journalist with the National Federation of Press Women. She won a first place NFPW award for her exclusive interview with Dr. Oz on Male Body Image. When Rebecca’s not broadcasting, she’s with her pet child and rescue dog Rizzo. She’s an avid philanthropist who enjoys volunteering in spare time. Rebecca’s a fan of cooking, traveling, and fitness. Plus, she’s a self-proclaimed movie and theater critic!
The Grand Opening will include a fun day, starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, plaque presentations, plus vendor and food booths, music from the PEAK, a pet parade, pet portraits, and the opportunity to meet adoptable pets and tour the newly renovated, beautiful facility.
