The Iona College men’s team took part in the 22nd annual Br. John “Paddy” Doyle / Iona College Meet of Champions early Friday morning at Van Cortlandt Park.
Key Notes:
The Gaels placed sixth in the 8,000-meter event, finishing with 131 points.
Army West Point won the event with 19 points. The Mules represented five of the top six runners, including the first-place finisher.
Junior Alex Carter led all Iona runners, finishing ninth in the event with a time of 26:14.0.
Senior Thomas McClellan placed 27th in the event in 26:40.2
