WHITE PLAINS, NY — Today, another local law enforcement group announced its endorsement of freshman State Senator Terrence Murphy. The Westchester County Correction Superior Officers Association (WCCSOA) represents more than 115 correctional supervisors serving at the Westchester County Department of Corrections.
“Members of the WCCSOA serve our community with distinction and honor,” said Senator Murphy. “Having toured some of our correctional facilities, I have seen firsthand the challenging environment they face on a daily basis. I commend them for their service and look forward to our continued work together.”
WCCSOA President Bruce Donnelly said, “Senator Murphy’s support of law enforcement and his willingness to partner with Westchester County Correction Officers and Supervisors has been second to none. We look forward to continuing our relationship and wholeheartedly endorse his bid for reelection.”
WCCCSOA joins a strong list of endorsements for Senator Murphy. The freshman Senator has already garnered the support of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT), the New York State Operating Engineers, the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the Yonkers PBA, the Supreme Court Officers Association, the New York State AFL-CIO, New York State Nurses Association, CSEA and the Utility Workers of America Local 1-2.
