NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Research indicates that students who are active in all stages of the IEP process (even in elementary school) do better in school, have increased graduation rates, and are more likely to go on to college or successful employment afterwards. This is true for students with all types of disabilities, mild to severe. Yet most students are not engaged in the process, and many do not even know they have an IEP. This session will offer insight and provide resources and strategies to engage your children in their education.
