NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Monroe College Rugby team continued its incredible inaugural season with a 29-21 win over Drew University on Thursday. The neophyte program, which has just three games under its belt, has improved to 2-1 on the season.
Monroe earned five tries on the day, with Dazzman Johnson recording a pair. Michael Yeboah, Luis Montalvo, and Nedeck Adams each scored one. Team captain Felipe Bezares made good on two conversions.
The Monroe College Rugby team will return to action on Saturday, October 15th, against SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta, New York. The start time is slated for 12:00 PM.
