NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City School District of New Rochelle will host a screening of the documentary, “Beyond Measure,” on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at New Rochelle High School.

Director Vicki Abeles was a Wall Street attorney before receiving critical acclaim for her co-direction of the 2007 documentary “Race to Nowhere,” which illuminates “the pressure-cooker culture dominating America’s schools.”

“Beyond Measure” – Abeles’s second release – poses challenging questions about the U.S.’s public education system, while featuring trailblazers of education reform from across the country.

Tickets for the screening are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door. The film will begin at 7 p.m., and will be shown in the high school’s Whitney Auditorium.
