NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle High School Principal Reginald Richardson described as “awe inspiring” his visit to the White House Wednesday where he attended the national summit of My Brother’s Keeper and heard President Barack Obama speak.

“One of the most American things is advocating for the disenfranchised, for the displaced, and for the underdog,” said Richardson. “The idea that there is a nationwide network of committed to supporting our students is absolutely inspiring.”

Richardson was accompanied to the White House by New Rochelle Councilman Jared Rice. Both are co-chairs of My Brother’s Keeper New Rochelle. As many as 300 mentors from across the country attended the summit.
