New Rochelle School Officials Warn of Anti-Trump Protest at Middle School

Written By: Robert Cox

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Students at the Albert Leonard Middle School are planning an Anti-Trump “walkout” this morning.

In an e-mail to staff, obtained by Talk of the Sound, Assistant Principal Daniel Goldberg asked that district employees notify the Principal’s Office if they observe groups of students gathering late this morning.

“It has come to the attention of administration that students are planning a politically driven walk-out today at 11am. Please notify the main office immediately if you begin to notice large groups students gathering and/or leaving the building at that time. We will address the situation appropriately if it is to occur.

Enjoy the day.

Danny

Mr. Daniel Goldberg

Assistant Principal

Albert Leonard Middle School”

The warning comes after Friday’s verbal directive from School Superintendent Dr. Brian Osborne to members of his leadership team not to allow the viewing or discussion of the Inauguration of President Trump on Friday.
