LWV Cable TV Interviews: Barbara Davis on the Changing Role of the Library

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Here is the schedule for the two newest interviews on “City People and Issues,” a cable television program sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle. They will be shown on alternate weeks on Cablevision Channel 76 on Mondays at 7 pm, Wednesdays at 10 pm. Thursdays at 9:30 pm. They will later be shown on demand at www.vimeo.com.

Barbara Davis, Coordinator of Community Relations, New Rochelle Public Library, describes the transformation of the modern library to a community center with a world of information and entertainment available both at the library or via computer.  Ina Aronow is host. The program will be shown the weeks of May 20 and April 3.

New Rochelle councilpersons Barry Fertel, representing District 5, and Liz Fried, representing District 6, both of which represent the northern half of New Rochelle, discuuss the issues that are important to their districts and to the city as a whole.  Haina Just-Michael is host. The interview will be shown the weeks of March 28 and April 10.
