NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Police Commissioner Patrick J. Carroll has been inducted into the St. Francis Preparatory School Hall of Fame during their annual spring reunion ceremony on April 8, 2017. This honor is awarded to those alumni who have achieved significant lifetime achievements and who’ve continued to set a model for others to follow. Commissioner Carroll represented the class of 1960.
Police Commissioner Patrick J. Carroll’s illustrious law enforcement career spans over fifty years. Commissioner Carroll came to New Rochelle after a distinguished tenure of 28 years with the New York City Police Department. He was appointed Police Commissioner of the City of New Rochelle in 1993. He has earned multiple awards while in office, such as a first place Webber Seavey Award for excellence in policing, an Adelante Award, and was recently awarded an Ellis Island Medal of Honor in May of 2016.
