NEW ROCHELLE, NY — There’s a new pub at the northern end of New Rochelle at 1301 North Avenue appropriately named, North End Tavern. On March 22, 2017 it held its grand opening ceremony hosted by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce. The Mayor Noam Bramson, City Manager, Chuck Strome, and City Council members Barry Fertel and Linda Fried were in attendance alongside New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce President Frank Miceli and other Chamber Board members.

Owners, Frank Dinapoli and Tommy Anderson are veterans in the restaurant business and partnered on this establishment together. Tommy Anderson is a lifelong resident of New Rochelle and attended schools here through college where he graduated Iona.

As Jennifer Lanser of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce introduced the Mayor she mentioned of the many exciting events North End Tavern has coming up such as “trivia night”, weekend brunches, and sports nights. A welcome addition to the north end, Mayor Bramson said “of all the restaurant Grand openings I’ve ever attended, this restaurant needs [the ceremony] the least because it has quite a following already.” Frank and Tommy, provided their specialty wings for the Grand Opening as a courtesy to those in attendance.
