NEW ROCHELLE, NY — May is Bike Month, and on Friday May 19th for National Bike to Work Day the City will host a pop-up expo at the corner of North and Huguenot from 8:30-10:30 AM.. Walkers and cyclists are welcome to stop by for refreshments, health tips, bike demos and more.
Walking and Bicycling are not only great ways to get to know your community, but they also offer various health and monetary benefits. And according to the League of American Bicyclists, 40% of all trips in the U.S. are less than two miles, making bicycling a feasible and fun way to travel.
The Walk/Bike to work Day is sponsored by Montefiore New Rochelle, 511NYRideshare, Danny’s Cycle, Pedro Sanchez Cycling, Chamber of Commerce and The Only Mart.
