WHITE PLAINS, NY — White Plains Hospital and Mariano Rivera are teeing up for their second annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 26, 2017.  Proceeds from the combined tournament will benefit White Plains Hospital and the Mariano Rivera Foundation.  Delta Air Lines is the presenting sponsor and ESPN is the media sponsor of the event.

This year, the Celebrity Golf Tournament will take place at two nationally ranked Westchester County venues – Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck and Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale.  Both are named among the top 50 in the United States for 2016/2017 by Golf Magazine and Winged Foot is the site of the 2020 Open.  In 2016, the Tournament raised nearly $400K.

More than 50 sports and entertainment celebrities are scheduled to attend this year’s events including Matt Lauer, Julius Erving, Daryl Strawberry, Ottis Anderson, Mike Richter and Jay Harris.

The day features brunch and 18 holes of golf followed by a star-studded celebrity dinner party and awards ceremony at Winged Foot in Mamaroneck.  There are a number of corporate and personal sponsorship levels available.  For more information about the Tournament, how to become a sponsor and to register an individual or a team, call 914.681.2264 or email plaine@wphospital.org.
