NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Terrific reads for the beach, vacation destination, or home – including best-selling fiction and non-fiction, biographies, classics, audio books, dvds, gift books, and much more, will be available for purchase at rock-bottom prices at The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library’s Super Summer Book Sale. The sale will take place in the library’s lobby on Thursday, July 6, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Friday, July 7, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
During the summer, the Friends Book Store will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. On summer Saturdays, from June 24th through August 28th, the Friends Book Store will be open from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm. It will resume its regular Saturday hours of 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on September 9th.
The executive board of The Friends of the Library coordinates the book sales and book store, with the assistance of other Friends’ volunteers. Money realized from book sales are used to underwrite the Library’s extensive public programs.
