WHITE PLAINS, NY — Former Webster Elementary School PTA President and Treasurer Rosemary Salvatore, 51, of 14 Whitestone Place, New Rochelle was sentenced on January 19, 2017, in Westchester County Court, in front of Judge Schwartz, Rosemary Salvatore was sentenced as a second felony offender to 1 1/2 to 3 years in state prison, and an order of protection was issued for the victim. Salvatore had previously made full restitution of $29,633.25 to the victim.
Salvatore is currently in custody at the Taconic Correctional Facility in Bedford Hills, NY.
On March 9, 2016, Rosemary Salvatore pled guilty to Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree in Westchester County Court in front of Judge Thorsen.
Salvatore stole money from an elderly Greenburgh man.
Salvatore had been been arrested by Greenburgh police in December 2015 following an investigation prompted by victim’s daughter. Salvatore was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, after an investigation.
According to investigators between February 1, 2014, and April 10, 2015, Salvatore stole $29,633 from an octogenarian who had hired her as a bookkeeper.
She was found to have been taking money from her client’s account and depositing the money into her personal account. A family member discovered the transactions and contacted police.
