NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Roland A.J. deLewinski, a resident of New Rochelle and formerly from Yonkers, died on December 20, 2016. He was 95.

Roland was born on September 7, 1921 in NYC to the late Arnold J. and Hortense (Brand) deLewinski. He served as a bomber pilot in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Theater and worked in sales for Electrolux for over 40 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mildred Huff on April 8, 2014 and his son Richard and his son-in-law Anthony J. Rusciano.

He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Rusciano; his 4 grandchildren: Vincent ( Nicole) Rusciano, Jennifer (Matthew) Tomkiel, Kristen (Ricardo) Golubov and Amy Clemen and 6 great grandchildren: Matthew, Julia, Anna and Camilla Tomkiel, Luke Golubov and Mackenzie Clemen.

Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 6pm-7pm at George T. Davis Funeral Home LLC, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle where a funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 7pm. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery Thursday 12noon.
