NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library will conduct their monthly Big Book Sale on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, in the Library’s Lobby and in the Friends’ new Bookstore. The public may select from a wide range of hardcover and paperback books, CDs, dvds, and more, when the Friends of NRPL’s conduct their monthly Big Book Sale.
The new Friends’ Book Store is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the month, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. The executive board of the Friends of the Library, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, coordinates the book sales with the assistance of other Friends’ volunteers. Money realized from book sales are used to underwrite the Library’s extensive public programs. The Friends welcome prospective volunteers.
