M.T.A. Police Officer Pleads Guilty to Assault

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced today that Allan Fong, thirty-nine, was sentenced in White Plains City Court on September 28, 2017 to a one year conditional discharge and fifty hours of community service after pleading guilty to:

•one count of Assault in the Third Degree, a Misdemeanor. 

On October 30, 2016, at the White Plains Trains Station located at 16 Ferris Avenue, the defendant, an on duty police officer of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department intentionally hit the victim in the back of the head with an asp. The defendant’s actions caused the victim to suffer pain to the back of the head and a laceration which required two staples to the back of his head.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Berit Huseby of the Investigations Division.
