NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Firefighters called a second alarm immediately upon arriving at a structure fire at 48 4th Street in New Rochelle’s West End.

The building owner pulled up to his house shortly after 9:30 a.m. with his wife and daughter in his car to find the first and second floor on fire. No one was in the home at the time.

The fire was declared under control 45 minutes later, said Deputy Chief Scott Bradley.

One firefighter suffered a wrist injury, said Bradley.
