Women’s Swimming Earns Victory over SJC-Brooklyn, Falls to SJC-Long Island

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The women’s swim team took on St. Joe’s Brooklyn and St. Joe’s Long Island on Saturday afternoon at The College of New Rochelle’s Wellness Center. It was their first home tri-meet of the season. The women earned a win over St. Joe’s Brooklyn by a single point, but fell to St. Joe’s Long Island to bring their overall record to 2 – 2. 

Sophomore Chloe Wang picked up two victories on the day in the 100yd Breaststroke and the 100 Individual Medley. Wang recorded season best times in both races.

Strong performances were turned in by Barrett Pritchard, Eileen Chia, Tiana Hart, Lexus Salmon, Natasha Fernandez, Ana Gil, Lexus Natal and Alexandra Czarkosky.

The team returns to action on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:00 PM when they head to John Jay College.
