NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A former Jaguars football player, a state Solicitor General, a New Rochelle City Councilman and a prominent Yale doctor will be added to the New Rochelle High School Wall of Fame at a ceremony on Nov. 29.
The inductees are: Courtney Greene (Class of 2005), a former safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars; City Councilman Jared Rice (Class of 1997) who is also a partner in the New Rochelle law firm of Rice and Rice; Dr. Roy S. Herbst (Class of 1980), Chief of Medical Oncology at the Yale Cancer Center; and Dr. Andrée Kahn Blumstein (Class of 1963), the Solicitor General for the State of Tennessee.
The event begins at 5 p.m. in the House II stack area of the high school, 265 Clove Road. Those who would like to attend are asked to notify Sue Riordan at sriordan@nredlearn.org by Nov. 27.
