New Rochelle Youth Bureau to Celebrate 60th Anniversary with Gala Awards Dinner

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Youth Bureau will host their 60th Anniversary Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Greentree Country Club (538 Davenport Avenue) at 6:30pm.

Special recognition will be given this year to community members whose contributions were integral to the success of the Youth Bureau. The honorees for the 60th Anniversary Awards Dinner are Youth Court Board Member Bruce Daniele, New Rochelle City Court Clerk James Generoso, the late City Council Members Rhoda Quash and James C. Stowe (posthumously), City Manager Charles B. Strome, III and the New Rochelle Campership Fund.

“Join us as we take a moment to celebrate and honor a group of people that have contributed to the accomplishments and legacy of the New Rochelle Youth Bureau,” said Youth Bureau’s Executive Director, Kelly Johnson.

The New Rochelle Youth Bureau was founded in 1957 with the mission of preventing and reducing Juvenile Delinquency through Youth Development program services and activities for the City’s Youth. Their collaborative efforts with local agencies and businesses, as well as County-wide organizations, have created new programs in the areas of Youth Empowerment, Youth Employment, Student Advocacy, After-School Initiatives, and other Youth Development Services. www.NewRochelleNY.com/Youth
