NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Dr. Jonathon Brice has sent out notifications to people selected to be on the New Rochelle Task Force on the Reduction of Violence in the Lives of Children and Youth. The Task Force membership will be announced publicly on Monday.
Brice stated the first Task Force meeting will be held on Wednesday March 7th at 6 p.m. in the Linda E. Kelly Theater at New Rochelle High School.
The meeting will not be open to the public.
“The Task Force will determine together the process and schedule for public input,” said Brice. “Subsequent meetings will be held March 14, March 26, April 12 and April 18, with a Saturday meeting tentatively scheduled for April 14.”
The letter to newly appointed members reads;
“We received many applications from community members for this Task Force. This process has affirmed that New Rochelle is rich with talent, expertise, and deep devotion to building an ever-stronger community. We appreciate your interest and are confident that your experience and perspective will help the Task Force achieve its goals.
