NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Four exceptional New Rochelle High School seniors were honored by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence at its 20th Annual Awards Gala at The Fountainhead banquet hall on Thursday, April 19.
The students were Jonathan Saddler, Andrew Sorota, Annael Alvarez and Zahra Masih.
Several NRHS alumni and other community members were also honored. They were:
3D pop art master Charles Fazzino, whose distinctive, whimsical works have provided inspiration for students to create their own artworks this year; Michael Fosina (Class of 1980), President NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital, and Linda Fosina, Coalition Coordinator at NR Focus; Carol Archer (Class of 1987), Executive Manager for the Chairman and CEO of Azul Airlines; and Andy Capellan (NRHS Girls Varsity Track Coach).
