NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A new series, “Music In Our Lives,” will be launched with a dazzling performance by internationally-renowned and Grammy-nominated flutist Carol Wincenc and New York Philharmonic harpist Nancy Allen on Sunday, September 23, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library. The series, sponsored by Songcatchers, Inc., will explore the impact of music and its meaning in our lives. The concert is free, but donations to Songcatchers will be gratefully accepted.

The program will feature French, German, and Hungarian music of the 19th century ‘Romantic Period’. Known for its rich harmonies, great drama, lush texture, and tranquil intimacy, the music of this period provides a sumptuous concert experience for audiences.
