WHITE PLAINS, NY — This Saturday, The Sharing Shelf of FSW, in partnership with the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound, will host its fall Teen Boutique. Teen Boutique is a free, one-day pop-up clothing boutique for girls ages 13 to 19 from low-income households. Racks of new and gently used clothing are set up to create a trendy boutique atmosphere and girls are invited to choose and take home a week’s worth of clothing from thousands of donated items. The event is not open to the public, girls are selected to attend by social service agencies that partner with the program.
Media will have the opportunity to interview Deborah Blatt, Program Director, and some of the girls shopping at the event.
