NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Police took a report of a grand larceny at New Rochelle High School last Thursday. A student called police on February 7th to say that her wallet containing her learner’s permit, Amazon Prime Visa credit card, and $40.00 cash was stolen.
The student told police she left her backpack unattended in the girl’s locker room for 5 minutes while she changed clothes. She did not realize the wallet was missing until two hours later. She did not see anyone who might have taken the wallet out of her backpack.
