NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Interim Superintendent Dr. Magda Parvey issued a statement Wednesday confirming a report by Talk of the Sound of an allegation of sexual abuse at Albert Leonard Middle School.
“The district immediately notified the New Rochelle Police Department on Friday when an Albert Leonard Middle School student made an allegation of past inappropriate contact by a former school employee. The district is fully cooperating with the investigation.”
News12 is reporting that a student alleged they were sexually abused several months ago by a school security guard who worked at the school but “left about one to two months ago”.
New Rochelle Police Department Captain George Rosenbergen told Talk of the Sound the case involves “juveniles” – plural.
