Fried and Ramos-Herbert Win Democratic Primaries in New Rochelle

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Yadria Ramos-Herbert and Elizabeth Fried, the two party-endorsed candidates, won the New Rochelle Democratic Party Primary Election on Tuesday.

Yadria Ramos-Herbert defeated David Peters 54% (271 votes) to 46% (229 votes) in District 3 with 100% of votes counted according to the Unofficial Tally by the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Elizabeth Fried defeated Shari Rackman 66% (243 votes cast) to 34% (124 votes cast) in District 6 with 100% of votes counted according to the Unofficial Tally by the Westchester County Board of Elections.

In the Independent Party Primary, Lou Trangucci defeated Martha Lopez 75% (9 votes cast) to 25% (3 votes cast) in District 1 with 85% of votes counted according to the Unofficial Tally by the Westchester County Board of Elections.
